Sustainability and wellness are not often prioritized from the beginning stages of building a business because that isn’t what is most profitable in our current systems. And traditional business development programs are focused on scaling without often disclosing the amount of time, money, resources, and privilege that goes into their process.

In 2021, we began running a 5 month course called Creative Differences. Our original cohort started Aug 2021. This course was our signature curriculum for fellow business owners who cannot & will not try to play the games of the hustle + grind + scale-as-fast-as-you-can online business space.
We've had the absolute honor of serving over 50 entrepreneurs over 6 cohorts from 2021 - 2024.
And now we're making a change.
A structured course with monthly calls made sense and was the vibe in 2021.
Now???
We are too tired. And we know you are too.
We are ready for something even gentler & more realistic for business development + community.
So we retired our monthly meeting format & opened our signature weekly email membership.
Especially as we have continued to run our own businesses, it's just so apparent how much it is NOT a one-and-done thing when it comes to figuring out what works for you.
And honestly? The pressure to show up live—even once a month—was too much for some of our people. The guilt of missing a call. The energy drain of being "on." The scheduling conflicts.
When you live with chronic illness, mental illness, disability, neurodivergence, and are trying to survive capitalism, some days you can't even open your laptop. Some weeks, checking your email is the only business task you can manage.
That's not you doing something "wrong," or your business not being "good enough."
That is simply being human.
We’ve been working with low energy entrepreneurs since 2021 and from the countless conversations and classes we’ve had, we have built our own signature framework of methods - the reminders and strategies we found ourselves repeating over and over.
One of our people would come to us with a problem or source of anxiety or feeling overwhelmed – we would be responding with one or more of these specific 8 methods.
We used our 8 methods to design the weekly routine the email membership follows. So over the course of each week, you'll have opportunities to work on each method area of low energy entrepreneurship (but only if you want to and you have the capacity for it).
The 8 method areas are:
1. Checking in with your current capacity
2. Establishing what your current season of life and business and creativity are
3. Setting ridiculously realistic goals
4. Returning to your core values
5. Simplifying the transitions that are going on
6. Practicing taking different kinds of breaks
7. Noticing where you're using all or nothing thinking to try to make decisions
8. Engaging with your authentic creative process type

You'll receive three emails every week, each one designed to support you exactly where you are:
Monday: Consistency - We'll practice starting the week off with a better understanding of our current capacities and what realistic goals we could work on.
Wednesday: Confidence - We'll practice tuning back into our story, our values, our creativity so we can feel empowered in our authentic self, not bogged down by what the internet says we "should" be doing.
Friday: Comfort- We'll practice reflecting on the mechanics of your business week and editing your routines to allow for more flexibility and functionality.

As always, the most important thing you can do for yourself is check in with your current capacities.
(Non existent? Lower but there? Typical or medium? Higher than usual?)
It is normal and correct for your capacities to change.
Remember - We are not worried about doing the exact same things every single day. Let's focus on...
*consistently* checking in with ourselves
*consistently* setting realistic doable goals, and
*consistently* allowing our process & routines to shift as they need to.
-> If you're here, you are already "consistent." Because you exist. And you're reading this.
-> It is normal for your "consistency" to consistently shift as you shift, your capacities shift, the seasons shift, and your projects shifts.
The prompts and tasks are organized by capacity level, from lower to higher.
Start with the first check in, and then if you have more capacity or interest, you can continue to the second, and then third.
You can use or save these prompts however makes sense for your current self.
If your overall capacity is feeling lower right now:
1. What are my capacities trying to tell me right now? --> spend a few seconds with one or more of your capacities, take some deep breaths, and just notice whatever that capacity is needing to say or feel, if anything.
If your overall capacity is feeling more typical or medium level right now:
1. What are my capacities trying to tell me right now? -> spend a few seconds with one or more of your capacities, take some deep breaths, and just notice whatever that capacity is needing to say or feel, if anything.
2. What kind of season do I feel like I'm in right now? -> spend a couple minutes noticing if it feels different to last week or last month, or if the major themes and priorities and responsibilities feel about the same. (This can help us identify if a transition is going on in our life / work ).
If your overall capacity is feeling higher right now:
1. What are my capacities trying to tell me right now? --> spend a few seconds with one or more of your capacities, take some deep breaths, and just notice whatever that capacity is needing to say or feel, if anything.
2. What kind of season do I feel like I'm in right now? -> spend a couple minutes noticing if it feels different to last week or last month, or if the major themes and priorities and responsibilities feel about the same. (This can help us identify if a transition is going on in our life / work).
3. What's a realistic goal I can imagine myself being able to achieve in the next few days? -> spend a few minutes brainstorming some super realistic goals that you absolutely KNOW you COULD achieve if you had the time, capacity, and resources needed to work on them this week. (This can help us establish our current scopes of confidence and comfort). BONUS - are all realistic if you attempted all of them? Or is it more realistic that you COULD do ONE off of this list, but not more?
There is no one singular correct way to bring my dreams into reality.
You can use these prompts and tasks whenever and however you want. One way you could keep it on a somewhat schedule could be to do any or all of the prompts between today and tomorrow (Tuesday).
On Wednesday, you'll receive the next email which will focus on your confidence as a low energy creative.

You would get something like the example above on a Monday, and then another one on Wednesday focused on confidence building prompts and tasks, and then a final one on Friday focused on making business feel more comfortable for you as a low energy entrepreneur.
While you technically can join and cancel at any time-- meaning you can join for one month only-- we ask and invite you to join us for a season. It takes time for things to happen and we find that things have time to take root after 3-4 months. Sometimes you stay somewhere for a season or for multiple seasons. All is welcome here and there are no hard feelings if you decide that you can't stay for a season.
You don't have to! There is absolutely no expectation that you read every email the day it arrives. Some weeks you might read all three. Some weeks you might read none. Some emails you'll save for later. Some you'll delete. This is designed to work WITH your capacity, not demand more of it. Your subscription gives you access to ongoing support—how you use it is entirely up to you.

Great question! The membership gives you structured, sequential support delivered directly to your inbox. Instead of scrolling and hoping to find what you need, you receive intentional guidance each week that builds on our signature framework. You're not trying to piece together strategy from random posts—you're receiving a comprehensive approach to low-energy entrepreneurship, broken down into daily, digestible pieces.
We both strive to hold space and offer strategy that is human-first, trauma-informed, and inclusive of an individual’s lived experience and social identities. Both have completed a trauma-informed space holding curriculum, are actively engaged in anti-racism study and work, and are both deconstructing capitalistic standards and values. We want to make it clear that we do not guarantee an automatic safe space for you – we recognize that you are the judge of what feels safe and expansive for you. Our intention is to allow you to access your internal safety as best you can in our current social climate through ample consent, choice, and clarity in our time together. We will remain in our scope of practice when engaging with you and our work, and will refer out to qualified individuals for more aligned support when necessary. For me, low energy entrepreneurship is about offering validation, space, and compassion to other creatives who just feel so overwhelmed by everything, anxious about being seen and messing up, and exhausted from trying to be a functioning human in this society.
For me, low energy entrepreneurship is all about meeting you where you are. Rejecting the standards that have been set by the online business world that require you to bypass your own needs and reality. Realities that are often so complex and difficult to navigate without running a business added on top.
We really value cultivating a space where people who think like us feel welcome. That the people who come to work with us, want to work with us! We definitely aren’t for everyone, but we each bring a unique perspective and skillset to the table.
